Movie Night: Amazing Grace

About this event

🎬 Join Us for a Special Movie Night!

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Amazing Grace, the inspiring film telling the story of William Wilberforce’s 20-year fight to end the British slave trade and John Newton, the former slave ship captain whose journey of repentance and forgiveness inspired the beloved hymn Amazing Grace. Thanks to Communion and Walden Media, the film is being made available to churches to stream for free in honor of its 20th anniversary! We’re excited to share this meaningful story with our church family and community. This powerful film reminds us of the importance of faith, courage, friendship, repentance, and forgiveness. As well as, teaches us how we can make a difference when we refuse to give up on what is right.
