About this event

Ground Truth: How Place Makes Form

Every place has its own economy of materials, labor, and light, and every design is an answer to it. This talk gathers what disparate places have taught one architect about working with what is at hand, and how local resources shape intention long before form arrives. It asks what we owe those conditions, and what becomes possible when we treat them as the beginning of design rather than a limit on it.
